The Center sponsors cultural tours and workshops in several areas of the world. This year, we will be coordinating a week-long Summer Workshop in Bali which will include a Collaborative Project between teachers and students of Young Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and the Center's workshop of Sundanese and Balinese teachers.

Summer Workshop in Bali (August 23-31, 2008)

The Bali Workshop, to be held at Flower Mountain, Payangan, will focus on the traditional music and dance from West Java (Sunda) and Bali.

Collaborative Project (August 30, 2008)

At the end of the week, the participants will present a group-composed musical performance combing western and non-western instruments for the community (possibly including the audience).
