A new Foundation for Traditional Arts of the World in
Bali, Yayasan Seni Dunia Tradisional (SenDuTra), was recently created
with the help of
Dr. Robert E. Brown, former president of the Center
for World Music, to serve as an Indonesian counterpart to the Center.
The Foundation sometimes works with the Center in co-sponsoring groups,
and is at present in a period of development. Its officers, listed
at the left, consist largely of artists who have worked closely with
the Center for World Music, both in the United States and in Indonesia.
As SenDuTra continues to grow, news of its development
will be available on this page
