Bapak Nyoman Sumandhi will be here in San Diego during March and April, 2002. Along with his son, Wayan Sutartha, and Wayan Winata, another fine Balinese musician, Sumandhi will offer Balinese gamelan workshops for anybody interested in learning more about Balinese music. The schedule for the workshop series is below. The fee $5.00 per class for non-SDSU students. All ages and experience levels are welcome. All the workshop sessions will be held in the basement of the the San Diego Childrens Museum, 555 Union Street in downtown San Diego. Please enter by the grey door which opens out onto Front Street.
