Our Mission

The Center for World Music and Related Arts is a nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to foster awareness and understanding of the world's performing arts and cultural traditions through programs of performance and teaching, including workshops and cultural tours abroad.

The Center for World Music receives support from the Asian Cultural Council, the  California Arts Council, the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
