This evening's shadow play will be a special outdoor performance, presenting a story from the Ramayana.  Prof. Putro Widiyanto, an internationally acclaimed dalang or shadow puppet master, teaches Javanese gamelan at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.  Djoko Walujo is Javanese gamelan instructor at California Institute of the Arts, and Sutendri Mohamad Yusuf teaches Javanese gamelan at the Indonesian Consulate in Houston, Texas.Please bring warm clothing.  Snacks will be available for purchase during the performance.

Directions: Take Encinitas Blvd. exit from I-5 and head east for 3 to 4 miles.  At Rancho Santa Fe/Manchester intersection, make a left and proceed about 3/4 of a mile on Rancho Santa Fe Rd.  Make another left on 9th Street.  The house is the 4th house on the left side.
